After its completion, the facility known as SY3 will provide another 1,000 cabinets. The third data center is located in Mascot with a direct link to Southern Cross Cable Network and PIPE Pacific Cable.
Equinix claims SY3 is the most densely connected data center in Australia. It is recognized that Australia is the most mature cloud market in Asia-Pacific.
